Weddings and Civil Partnership celebrations can be hugely varied in their formats. For example, Tim could perform standards or jazz numbers as your guests arrive for the reception, followed by some mellow songs to create the right mood during the wedding breakfast. 

If you prefer, he could perform a love song for the couple’s first dance at the evening party, followed by a dance set, then a further set perhaps during the buffet or after the speeches. You may, of course, wish to combine different elements of these suggestions.
